THREE top executives of digital entertainment companies in Hong Kong will share their valuable experiences and first hand news at a CEO / Master Talk with fresh graduates and students who would like to enter the digital entertainment industry.  Seats are available on a first-come-first served basis.

Game - “The Next Big Idea

Philip is Creative Director of the Outblaze-owned design studio Dream Cortex, which has produced over 200 mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, accumulating over 50 million downloads. Philip produced the “Pretty Pet” series of mobile games, which have been downloaded over 15 million times and frequently feature in Top Ten lists around the world. In 2014, another popular mobile game Philip produced, “Star Girl”, was sold to Hong Kong listed Crosby Capital Limited (HK: 8088) in a transaction that values the Star Girl property up to approximately USD 30 million.
 
Mr. Matthew Chow
Animation Director, Simage Animation and Media Ltd.
Animation – “Animation business for small studio

For the past 17 years, Matthew Chow has worked as an animation director and a producer for both animation and live-action projects.  Currently, as the director of Simage Animation and Media Ltd., he oversees the studio’s development and production of overseas CGI animated television and feature film projects.  He is a founding member of HKanima and one of the creative talents featured in the “Inspiration Sparks HK” campaign launched by Create Hong Kong of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) in 2013.
Following his passion for Hong Kong political and social issues, he produced animated short films including My Old Neighborhood (2009), My Poor Neighborhood (2010), Temple Rider (2010) and Life Goes On (2012).
 
Mr. Dawn Cheng

VR – “Want to get into Virtual Reality? This is your first step

Dawn Cheng worked at Salon Films more than 16 years, directed across wide ranges of videos including TV commercial, documentaries, corporate video and dramas. Major Clients include the HKSAR Government, Hongkong Electric, Hutchison Global Communication Ltd, Chevalier Group, etc.
Starting from 2014, with the acquisition of IM360 system from Immersive Media, Dawn Cheng started the research and production of 360 VR content with our colleagues, which successfully brought unique and interactive second screen experience to clients in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.
